Japanese Chocolate Steam Cake

When i saw the cake from this blog, its like apam dotdot or just ordinary steam cake, or steam muffin. The recipe also not too different. But what make me interesting is, the ingredients are so easy to take. You only need measuring cup and measuring spoon. No need digital or manual scale. No mixer, just whisk it. And really…. i like doing something easy and simple. So i made this cake according to the recipe.
After i pour the mixture into the cup case, i forgot to put the chocochip. so i just spread it on top of the cake. Unfortunately i missed count the cause of spreading chocochip on top of the cake can make the cake surface not smooth. So when i took the cake from steamer, yeah it had holes on the surface .. so dissapointed. Next time i should remember that chocochip must be mixture with the other ingredients.
But the cake taste very yummy and soft. But maybe i should try to find the way to eliminate the egg smell from the cake, even though it doesn’t smelly when you eat it. Well it worth to try ^_^
